  1. Preside over the executive board and all scheduled meetings
  2. Be the official liaison between the advisors and the executive board
  3. Provide and seek feedback regularly at general body and executive meetings
  4. Form ad hoc committees with the approval of the executive board
  5. Act as the official voice of tRAC
  6. Not vote in tRAC except in the case of a tie
  7. Remain aware of actions of all committees by identifying a representative or delegate to attend committee meetings
  8. Represent, or assign someone to represent, tRAC at Council of Student Leaders as well as other official functions
  9. Actively promote the organization to the university community
  10. Actively work with on-campus students, hall councils and Residential Housing on initiatives that enhance the living environment of the residential community
  11. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the Department of Residential Housing through regular communication
  12. Develop and maintain a working relationship with other university organizations and departments through regular communication by identifying a representative or delegate
  13. Work with the NCC to explore best practices at other institutions when necessary
  14. Work with the Vice President for Programming, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, and Vice President for Finance & CFO to make sure hall/complex councils meet funding requirements
  15. Work with the Vice President for Finance & CFO and Vice President for Marketing & Public Relations to communicate budgetary matters and funding opportunities to Residential Housing staff
  16. Be responsible for administering all agreements with outside vendors and all other services provided by the organization

  1. Oversee all sources of revenue collected
  2. Ensure that all financial obligations of tRAC are fulfilled
  3. Be responsible for the maintenance of the treasury
  4. Oversee fundraising activities with the Vice President for Programming and Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations
  5. Furnish up-to-date financial records, such as quarterly budget reports and financial reports after each major programming event to the general body
  6. Pass on program information from past funding requests to Administrative Affairs to be archived in the tRAC office
  7. Update the budget every other week and report at general body meeting
  8. Serve, or appoint someone to serve, as tRAC’s representative to Student Senate’s Student Activities Commission (SAC)
  9. Chair the Finance Committee
  10. Have a copy of the most recent budget available at every meeting
  11. Coordinate all funding requests, including communication to those requesting funding and prepare requests for presentation
  12. Work with the President, Vice President for Programming, and Vice President for Administrative Affairs to make sure hall/complex councils meet funding requirements
  13. Work with President and Vice President for Marketing & Public Relations to communicate budgetary matters and funding opportunities to Residential Housing staff
  14. Maintain communication with the Office of the Bursar
  15. Be responsible for use of the controlled value card through the Purchasing Card Administration

4.Serve as the contact person to the media for publicity purposes and maintain frequent communication with the university community
5.Chair the Marketing Committee
6.Identify Web Master for updating of the Web site and other electronic media
7.Create and maintain tRAC publicity packets
8.Be responsible for developing membership strategy in conjunction with the executive board
9.Work with President and Vice President for Finance & CFO to communicate budgetary matters and funding opportunities to Residential Housing staff

1.Be responsible for maintaining contact with the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, Inc. (NACURH)
2.Be responsible for maintaining contact with the Central Atlantic Affiliate (CAACURH) of NACURH.
3.In the event of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs’ absence, the NCC will take on the minute-taking responsibilities
4.Coordinate Ohio University delegation to NACURH, CAACURH and any subregional conferences
5.Be responsible for re-affiliating Ohio University with NACURH annually
6.Liaison with Regional Board of Directors
7.Communicate votes at regionals and nationals to executive body
8.Write and submit any bids to CAACURH and/or NACURH

1.Be responsible for the maintenance of attendance records and inquire about absences and communicate absences of executive officers to the rest of the executive board
2.Be responsible for coordination and evaluation of all standing committees, and for the recording of each committee’s schedule and plans
3.Chair the Recognition Committee
4.Assume the Presidents’ duties when the President is absent
5.Be responsible for maintaining all voting records
6.Put together agenda, based on agenda items sent to the VP for Administrative Affairs by the other officers 72 hours prior to the general body meeting. Send the agenda to President for approval, and email copies of the agenda 24 hours prior to meeting to all members. Print agenda for executive meeting.
7.Record minutes of each tRAC meeting, update the list-serv and distribute to all members within 48 hours after the general body meeting
8.Minutes for executive meetings shall be sent to all executives within 48 hours after the executive meeting
9.Maintain historical records of tRAC
10.In the case of vacancy in an officer position, notify general body of vacancy and appointments.
11.Work with the President, Vice President for Programming, and Vice President for Finance to make sure hall/complex councils meet funding requirements
