tRAC partners with Athens County Children's Services each year for their Santa Tree Project, a program that calls on individuals to "adopt", or sponsor, one or more children to buy them their desired presents for Christmas*.
Every year, the Santa Tree project collects enough gifts to brighten the holiday season of over 1,261 children in Athens County. This program helps spread holiday cheer to those less fortunate, and it wholly depends on the generosity of community members. A donation to any one child could be enough to make their holiday season a joyous one.
tRAC calls on each hall council and partnering student organizations and campus partners to adopt at least one child this holiday season. Last year, tRAC hit an all-time record of 53 children adopted: we're hoping to smash through that record this year!
Please fill out this survey by November 19th, at midnight, to register for the amount of children you'd like to adopt on behalf of your organization or department.
