National Affiliations

the Residents' Action Council is affiliated with the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, Inc. (NACURH). Bringing together over 400 schools from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia, NACURH is considered to be the largest student run organization in the world. NACURH promotes living on campus as an essential piece of the college experience and provides resources to student leaders at schools across the world. Ohio University's Residence Hall Association (RHA), tRAC is located in the Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (CAACURH), which includes schools from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, D.C., Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Qatar, and Ohio. Students from Ohio University will attend two regional and one national conference every year. Conference locations vary as a different university is selected each year to host each conference.

Local Affilations

tRAC is also affiliated with Ohio University's National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) chapter. "NRHH is a national organization that recognizes exceptional students, programs, and community service within the residence halls. The Ohio University chapter of NRHH has several different ways of giving recognition. Each year new students are inducted into NRHH because of their outstanding service to their communities. NRHH members are acknowledged as the top 1% of students living within the halls. Another way that NRHH gives recognition is through Of The Month (OTM) submissions. Each month, students, RA's, ARD's, RD's and other staff members have the opportunity to nominate students and programs in many different categories. These nominations are then sent on to be judged with other OTM's from schools across the country."
